Youth Flag Football League Description: The Dallastown Youth Flag Football League is a developmental league designed to provide instruction on the fundamentals of football including running, passing, and catching. Participants will be introduced to the rules of the game, learning to be a “team player”, the importance of conditioning, learning to be “coached”, and basic offensive and defensive concepts. Goal: The purpose of this league is to offer participants a fundamental introduction to football under the guidance and influence of the It is a non-competitive league intended to be instructional and fun! Support: The league is sponsored and supported by the Dallastown Football Booster Club. Participants: Boys and Girls Grades 1-6, players will be grouped by age. This year we are going to play 5on5 instead of 7on7. We will try to keep teams to seven players, hoping to make more teams. There will also be a need for volunteer coaches to help make the program a success! Schedule: Practices begin March 24/31. Our goal is to play games on Saturday afternoons beginning Saturday April 14th and ending Saturday May 19th. Sundays will then be utilized as make up dates. Game days will depend on field availability.
