TRAILBLAZERS

Dear Parent and Student,

          Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year.  The Trailblazers team, your 8^th grade team, is excited to start the year with you.  We have some information we felt you would find useful as we, together, prepare for this exciting year.

          Our team suggests you have the following materials.  General supplies include four individual binders for the four major subjects plus two to three folders with pockets.  We also suggest notebook paper, pencils, pens, highlighters, scissors, graph paper, a calculator, and a pack of colored pencils.  Throughout the year, these materials will be very useful and are essential to being prepared for each class.

          On this site you will find a link to the Trailblazers' Computer Policy and Honor Code. We will be discussing these documents with our students but feel parents should have the opportunity to read the materials before the beginning of the school year.  If you have questions, please contact one of us and we will address them at that time.

          “Meet The Team” night will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 in your homeroom.  Following a brief video presentation by our administration, you will have the opportunity to follow your students' schedule, meet the teachers and learn about the curriculum. This evening should be an informative and great start to the new school year.
