Grant Opportunities

Each year, the Dallastown Area Educational Foundation funds one or more Educational Opportunity Grants of up to $1,000 from its discretionary funds for projects that expand academic and cultural opportunities for students in the Dallastown Area School District.

To make the greatest impact with limited funds, Dallastown Area Educational Foundation has chosen the following two focus areas for Educational Opportunity Grants:
  1. Educational/Academic Improvement Opportunities for Students
  2. Cultural Opportunities for Students

The following Guiding Principles identify key characteristics and expectations of successful grant applications:

  5. Enhance understanding of history, culture and/or the arts
  6. Demonstrate “Best Practices” in design, implementation, evaluation
  7. Leverage existing resources
  8. Benefit students, our community and our society
  9. Stimulate life-long learning
