Dallastown Area School District Teams up with Market Street Sports Group to Secure Corporate Partnerships
Dallastown Area School District is proud to exclusively partner with Market Street Sports Group based in Lancaster. The collective goal in the partnership, which began in January of 2012 was to bring companies and organizations the opportunity to become involved with the school district through corporate sponsorship.
The purpose for implementing these marketing strategies is to generate alternative revenue for the school district’s extracurricular facilities, mainly partnering with the Dallastown Area Education Foundation’s Turf Campaign effort. Additionally, we believe that by providing corporations the opportunity to sponsor our venues, it will allow the community to become more involved in our district and will benefit our students.
The partnership with Market Street Sports Group, consisting of Jeff Bertoni, Jason Jesberger, and Frank Hoke allows Dallastown to benefit from their more than 30 years of sales, marketing, family entertainment, and teaching experience. MSSG is currently working with the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association, the Harrisburg City Islanders (USLPro Soccer) the Hempfield Recreation Commission, the Lebanon Valley Expo Center and nine other local school districts to bring companies and organizations an innovative marketing experience.
The corporate partnership program currently consists of the following agreements.
Orthopedic Spine Specialists (OSS Health) – Renewed their three year deal in April of 2015 to have signage located adjacent to the gymnasium scoreboard.
Advantage Physical Therapy- Renewed a four year deal in June of 2013 to secure the naming rights of the varsity baseball field, now known as Advantage Physical Therapy Field.
Vitality Vending – Began a series of one year deals in December of 2012 to have a healthy snack food vending machines placed in both the high school and middle school. 20% of all purchases made are donated back to the district each month.
White Rose Credit Union * – Renewed a three year deal in June of 2015 to have signage placed on the stadium scoreboard, and an ATM placed on the high school campus. White Rose Credit Union will retain it’s exclusivity in the banking category.
Ben Franklin Plumbing* - Renewed a one year deal in August of 2016 to remain the naming rights partner of the Dallastown Student Section and has exclusivity in the electrical, plumbing and air conditioning categories.
Manor Care Health Services – Signed a three year deal in August of 2013 to have signage placed on the stadium scoreboard.
WellSpan Sports Medicine – Signed a three year deal in October of 2013 to become the naming rights partner of the Press Box located at the stadium.
Heritage Hills Resort* - Signed a three year deal in November of 2013 to become the naming rights partner of the Middle School Café (AvalancheXpress) and the outdoor patio (Ballyhoo Sports). The deal includes exclusivity in the hospitality category.
Matt Manning of Morgan Stanley Financial Services* – Signed a three year deal in September of 2015 to become the naming rights partner of Wildcat Field Presented by Matt Manning of Morgan Stanley. Morgan Stanley has exclusivity in the financial planning category.
Apple Ford* – signed a one year deal in September of 2016 to remain the naming rights partner of the Ticket Booths at the Stadium and Gymnasium. Apple Ford retains exclusivity in automotive sales category.
Heritage Hills Athletic Club* – signed a three year deal in September of 2014 to become the naming rights partner of the Dallastown Area School District Tennis Courts.
Community Aid Thrift Stores – signed a three year deal in June of 2015 to become the naming rights partner of the Dallastown Area Varsity Soccer Field. 4 cents per pound of clothing placed in their collection bins on campus goes to benefit the Dallastown Area Education Foundation.
Olson Orthodontics*- signed a three year deal in October of 2015 to become the naming rights partner of the indoor concession stands located in the gym and natatorium lobbies. Olson Orthodontics retains exclusivity in the dental category.
*For the companies that have exclusivity clauses in their deals the district has agreed not to allow competing businesses from marketing to its staff, students and families through district run publications, events and other communications.
