The photo above is of our main gym which is also our competition gym and was constructed in 2000-2001. It contains a floor area (when the bleachers are in) of 10,670 square feet, 12 glass basketball backboards, the competition wrestling mat which is stored suspended from the ceiling, a state of the art sound system, and seating for 2205 spectators. The use of direct and indirect lighting, combined with small windows that let in some natural light, make it a very inviting facility. This gym is used daily for physical education classes.
The photo above is of our auxiliary gymnasium. This gym is used primarily for physical education classes and team practices. It contains 2 electronic scoreboards, 6 glass basketball backboards, and a hardwood floor of 5850 square feet. Renovations were done to this gym in 2000 – 2001.
The photo above is of our weight room. This facility came about as part of our school renovation in 2000-2001. The weight room includes free weights used in many applications, weight machines of several types and a state of the art sound system. This room is used for physical education classes through the winter months and for strength training of our athletic teams.
The photo above is of the wrestling room. This facility was constructed during the building renovations in 2000 – 2001. The wrestling room features a hardwood floor of 3782 square feet covered by a wall-to-wall wrestling mat, fully padded walls and doors, pull-up bars and a state of the art sound system. A drop curtain can be lowered to divide the room. This facility is used in the winter months for physical education classes and of course for wrestling practice.
