Welcome to Loganville-Springfield Elementary School
If you are new to the Loganville-Springfield family, you just entered into a very special school. Loganville is a close-knit educational community that promotes the academic and social development of all students in a safe, friendly environment. Our 3 Bee rules are: Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible.
Our dedicated staff at Loganville-Springfield serves approximately 480 students in grades K-3. In addition to the core curriculum, the school offers gifted and learning support services, reading support (including Reading Recovery), speech and language support, hearing itinerant services, guidance, instructional support services, and occupational and physical therapy. Loganville-Springfield students experience daily instruction in one of these specialty areas: art, music, physical education, library, and technology.
Parents/Guardians are always welcome at our school. We view our parents/guardians as equal partners in providing our children with meaningful educational experiences. Further, we encourage you to become active participants in school programs and classroom activities. Parents who help regularly and routinely in the school will need to obtain the necessary clearances (see ‘clearances’ tab on the Dallastown website – www.dallastown.net). There are many ways to support your child, such as volunteering to help in the classroom, volunteering for the PTO or attending one of our many school programs. We certainly understand many of you lead busy lives, and it is often difficult to volunteer at school. Just as important as volunteering is a nightly routine of reading to your child, talking about their day, and getting them prepared for the next day of school.
