Welcome to the Dallastown Area Intermediate School! My name is Paula March and I am the principal of the school and will also assume some daily responsibilities for the Red Community. We had a great opening year as we began to create the culture and uniqueness of this building.
The 2012-2013 school year will be the start of my 32nd year in education. I have been a building principal in Dallastown for the past fourteen years. I spent 8 years at York Township and 3 years at Leaders Heights Elementary. Prior to these principalships, I was a principal in the West York Area School District. I spent fourteen years as either an IST or learning support teacher working for the York City, West Shore and Lincoln Intermediate Unit.
I have been married to my husband, Randy, for 26 years and we live in the West York area. Randy is a Technology Education teacher in the Dover School District. I have three children. Our oldest Zachary is a 2010 graduate of the United States Military Academy and is posting at Ft. Bragg (NC) with the 82nd Airborne and was be deployed to Afghanistan in 2012. Joshua is a senior at Penn State University and Lauren is a junior at University of Pittsburgh. Josh and Lauren are also ROTC-Army cadets at their respective schools. Buddy and Bailey are the family dogs. In my free time, I enjoy reading, walking with my husband, playing the piano and spending the weekends visiting with our children.
