My name is Christopher Martin and I am the principal of the Blue Community. I am thrilled to be at Dallastown and look forward to serving your students.
The 2012-2013 school year will be the start of my sixteenth year in education. I have been an assistant principal, enrichment teacher and classroom teacher for The School District of the City of York for the past fifteen years. I have master’s degrees from Penn State in Curriculum and York College in Educational Leadership. I did my undergraduate work in Harrisonburg, VA at Eastern Mennonite University. I grew up as a dairy farmer in Spring Grove.
I have been married to my wonderful wife, Kelly, for eleven years and we live about ten minutes away from DAIS. Kelly is a mother of three who works part time for the J.C.C. Alissa, our oldest, is in third grade. She loves gymnastics and art. Jesse, our oldest son, is in second grade and loves technology and playing outside. Elias, our youngest, is totally into tractors and construction equipment. In my free time, I enjoy photography, adventure travel, tennis and being involved with our community.
