Elementary Special Permission

  • What is Elementary Special Permission?
  • Special Permission Application is a process Dallastown School District has developed to address unique situations regarding elementary enrollment.
  • The District determines elementary enrollment areas based on current enrollment projection data and district program capacities.
  • Central registration places children based on the geographical location of the parent/guardian’s residence within the elementary enrollment areas.
  • In unique situations the District may grant a child permission to attend a building outside the assigned attendance area.

Beginning 2020-21 the District will no longer accept new applications for Elementary Special Permissions.   Only students that  have been granted permission in the 2019-20 school year may reapply.
