Due to the March 6, 2020, Proclamation of Governor Wolf of disaster emergency due to COVID-19, and the subsequent Executive Orders closing schools, and in consideration of the health and safety of the school community, notice is hereby given that the Board of School Directors (the “Board”) of the Dallastown Area School District (the “District”) shall conduct a public action meeting followed by a Board Workshop: Team Retreat on March 30, 2020, at 9:00 a.m.  At 9:00 a.m., it is intended for the Board to only act in suspending all policies of the Board and administrative regulations of the Administration to the extent that they are inconsistent with what is now required by law, if reasonably necessary to protect the health and safety of students or employees, or if compliance with what is required by law will be unnecessarily impeded, as well as such other actions that may properly come before the Board as the result of the cancelled March 19, 2020, regular Board meeting.  Thereafter, the Board will conduct a public workshop to review the 2020-2021 budget that would not involve any anticipated Board action.  Public participation at this meeting shall be limited to remote connection using a virtual meeting platform to allow for connection by any member of the public and provide a mechanism for participants to indicate that they would like to speak and offer comments during the public comment portion of the meeting.  The remote connection can be accomplished electronically or through a traditional phone call.  Directions for connection to and participation in the public meeting will be published on the District’s publicly accessible website, (SEE ABOVE) The meeting shall be recorded and posted on the District’s website to allow those members of the public that cannot participate to review the proceeding at a later time.  The Board reserves the right to entertain any and all such matters that may be properly brought before it at the meeting.  This notice is posted pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Sunshine Act, 65 Pa.C.S. § 701, et seq.
